Quran text

The Arabic text of the Quran is from the Tanzil Project: Tanzil Quran Text (Simple, plain) and Tanzil Quran Text (Uthmani), version 1.1. The text is used verbatim, without any change, under Tanzil’s terms of use (Creative Commons Attribution 3.0). Copyright © 2007–2026 Tanzil Project. The full notice is included in the app under Settings › About › Licenses.

Translations

Every translation of the meanings is from QuranEnc.com and is shown without change, footnotes included. The built-in Turkish translation is by the Rowwad Translation Center. In the app, each translation names its translator or publisher and its version. If you notice an error in a translation, please tell us and we will pass it on to QuranEnc.com, which maintains the translations.

Recitation

Recitation by Mishary Rashid Alafasy, streamed from MP3Quran.

Prayer times

Official prayer times are published by Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı (Presidency of Religious Affairs, Türkiye). All other times are calculated on your device with a recognized calculation method, which the app names. When the app suggests a nearby official timetable for a place that has none of its own, that suggestion is ours, not Diyanet’s.

Places and time zones

Place names, coordinates and time zones are from GeoNames, licensed under CC BY 4.0 and adapted for the app.

Time-zone boundaries are from timezone-boundary-builder, © OpenStreetMap contributors, made available under the Open Database License (ODbL) 1.0. The app contains a simplified version of this boundary database, which is available under the same licence. For a free machine-readable copy, write to palmiyeminfo+eliflam@gmail.com.

Software and fonts

The open-source software and the fonts used by the app are listed, with their licences, in the app under Settings › About › Licenses.
